Queen in
Peace
A few years ago, a peace movement started by a girl holding a flag and her encourage inspired a lot of other women to do the same, speak up and demand their rights alongside peace. This movement inspired me to do this series of illustrations of three different women in different eras demanding peace. The queen which is the first lady comes from the queen in a deck card as she as a woman also had power and always soaked women's rights.
This project gave me the chance to explore with lino print as well.

Flowers blooming around her as a symbol of growth and women being as fragile as flowers. To show they need the freedom to grow and bloom.

Another composition of the same girl.

The queen would be the oldest women on this series emphasizing on women wanting freedom in different times in history and even the one from a deck card game.

Wood etched pieces of the composition +
