"The Persian Shirins" is a set of four illustrations of old Qajari paintings with a fresh look. Women who lived in the king's haramsara/castle were the main figures in the old paintings. Many of them were the king's wives or his entertainers.

Fath-Ali Shah Qajar was the second Shah of Qajar Iran. He was one of the famous Persian Kings who had haram saras with a huge number of women ready to serve him. He was one of the first people who brought fashion to Iran.
